About
Welcome!
Howdy! I’m Dieter Steinhauser, an electrical engineer and PhD student at the University of Florida. I created this website to share projects, ideas, and a passion for all things engineering! My deep curiosity for understanding how things work and fascination for technology led me on this path in life. I’m a full Gator, receiving both my bachelor’s and master’s degree from the University of Florida. My studies had a focus on circuit design and computer engineering, but I explored many topics such as data converters, power electronics, hardware security, signal processing, and robot automation. Outside of classes, I’ve tackled personal projects, engaged with various clubs, and ventured for a few internships. I aspire to build a career in the semiconductor industry, where I can contribute to innovations at the transistor level. As a lifelong learner that enjoys building and fixing things, I have picked up many hobbies, interests, and skills. My recent and prevalent hobbies are home automation, self-hosted applications, and building computers.
